Abby Anderson’s Top 100 Images of 2022
Wedding photographer in Fargo ND
Hello! I’m Abby Anderson, a wedding photographer in Fargo, ND. Wow, it’s amazing to look back on all of these celebrations! Today I’m sharing my Top 100 images of 2022. Every year I comb through my body of work and compile a collection of personal favorite images. I’m blessed to do what I love everyday, and thankful for every single client that trusts me to create imagery for them! I hope these photos live on for generations and become memories my clients cherish for a lifetime.
The church window light created this dramatic portrait.
The clouds and natural sunlight made for a dynamic image on the Jasper Terrace.
I got 47 mosquito bites while shooting this in a ditch late at night.
The vows during this fairytale ceremony looked straight out of a storybook.
Immediately after their wedding ceremony, the bride & groom retreated for a quiet moment to the place they got engaged. I love the bare feet and the water glass.
Pure joy in black and white.
The Cathedral in the Spring.
Bubbles made this night portrait fun!
I love their genuine smiles.
Grandma loved it all.
You can *feel* this hug.
On the ground…
In the air…
I’m just glad I was fast enough to catch this one!
The colorsssss!!
Vintage cars AND rain! The best of luck!!

Winter is magical!

Moments before their big walk up the aisle
I will always love a good church aisle portrait. Add flowers and I’m a happy photographer.
This mama pats the groom’s cheek before the bride arrives for the first look. Instant tears all around.
During the ceremony, the bride and groom look on as each parent took a turn watering the unity tree.
The couple asked me to capture their kiss from a different direction. I love seeing all the guests behind them!
Shadow play
I used a mirror under my lens to bring the sunglow in and block out the cars in this parking lot.
Many brides are choosing to do a first look with their dads. These moments are so sweet.
The maid-of-honor slips away to keep her hair dry.
The way the trees frame the image.
We happened upon a lemonade stand during portraits. The bride and groom bought all the lemonade these girls had!
This couple rocked sweats for their engagement session!
The bride’s soon to be mother-in-law reacts to seeing the dress.
It’s blurry and I love it that way.
The only time I’ve gotten an overhead shot of a ceremony processional! Thanks to my second photographer, Libby, who was standing on a balcony.
I matched the lighting on his face to the lighting on the horse.
An LED projection of NYC on the wall behind them
