Now THIS is how you take a 1 Year Anniversary Portrait! In the middle of a busy travel season, Kenny & KJ took a trip to Fargo from their home in Dallas to celebrate their anniversary. It’s hard to believe their amazing wedding day in Detroit Lakes was already a year ago! We reconnected for a portrait session and started in the studio where KJ wore a killer red dress. Ohhhh my goodness, how gorgeous is she?! After that, we took a walk in the blue skies and open prairie roads. Love this session (and couple!) so much!

In the middle of crazy life, it’s so important to make time for each other.
We took a photo at their wedding very similar to the one below. It’s a favorite of KJ’s so we recreated it. I love the way the sun shines on her hair!
