Ezra & Lexi

Not many couples can say this, but the first time Ezra set eyes on Lexi, she was walking toward him down the church aisle! An instant connection made them inseparable ever since. At their engagement session I was struck by the chemistry these two share, and being the photographer to capture it was such a joy!!! Lexi and I have enjoyed time together on many photo shoots. For a year and a half, she was my wedding assistant — and a very good one at that.  This girl turned cosmetologist knew how to pin away stray strands of hair and problem solve style issues in the blink of an eye. Lexi approaches everything she does with passion, enthusiasm and a feminine touch and I knew her wedding would reflect every bit of her signature style. Wanting their wedding to be an elegant picture of Christ and the Church, Ezra & Lexi planned their ceremony with great intention. The reception was held in the Valley City Municipal Auditorium, a local landmark that provided the historical blank canvas on which to paint a glittering, pink, black & white classy affair with big band music and lots of fresh blooms.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from the day!  Lexi surprised Ezra by singing to him during the ceremony. (cue all the tears)
