Those moments when time stands still are precious. I first met Jon & Meagan in early 2019, over two years ago when they were just starting to plan their wedding. They showed me some of the engagement photos they had recently taken, and it was easy to see their love. When 2020 arrived and Covid changed everyone’s plans, Jon & Meagan decided to delay their big celebration at Rustic Oaks and get married in a small ceremony in their hometown. I got to be present for that moment and it was amazing! But nothing was stopping these two from having the wedding they dreamed of. A lot of love and hard work went into making this day a reality. Watching them work through all the challenges only underlined their deep commitment to each other and it was my honor and privilege to photograph this celebration day! Jon & Meagan, when we shot those sunset photos I felt time stand still. When the tough times come ahead, I hope you look back on these photos for decades to come and remember that your love is strong and enduring.
A veil and the rings in some sunlight! These pearls belonged to Meagan’s grandmother and were a sentimental, heartfelt part of her bridal attire.

Spring green was popping out on all the bushes and trees. It’s the color of hope and new beginnings.
I’m glad Jon ended up with a messy face because let’s just say he deserved it.
There’s nothing quite like a Rustic Oaks sunset.
The white blooms on these bushes had me all starry eyed and I could have shot there all night. ♥
At one moment, Jon & Meagan organically turned away from me and took in the view. Guys, I hope you carry this moment in your hearts forever.
