Hjemkomst Center Stave Moorhead Wedding
Steve & Kyrsten
Steve & Kyrsten were married this past Saturday at Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead, inside the beautiful Stave Church replica located on their grounds. The replica is modeled after the Hopperstad Stave Church built in the Vik municipality of Norway around 1140. The woodwork is just amazing! It made sense for Steve & Kyrsten to marry here. When Kyrsten was 7 years old her family visited Norway with her Grandma, and celebrating her Scandinavian heritage has always been important to her. In fact, her grandpa originally immigrated to the U.S. on a boat similar to the Viking Ship on display inside the center. Steve & Kyrsten bring light to eachother’s eyes, and I felt so privileged to document the day they began their married life.
The icy blue color of the bridesmaid’s dresses was the perfect complement.

I love these portraits with the Viking Ship inside the Hjemkomst Center.
