OHH friends, I have a colorful, fairy tale engagement session for you today! Dalton & Brittney had me at the first pop of her banana-yellow high heel. We climbed across hill and stream (I’m only slightly exaggerating) to find this little nook where I had never photographed before. The sun was intense and after all this rain, the grass an expressive green. What fun!

The watch was a birthday gift for Dalton a short time ago.

Their baby boy, Buck, joined us for a few images. He’s the sweetest little chubberkins you can imagine!

Maybe kind of like an old time, prairie family?

We were so lucky to shoot on their family friend’s property.

Yes, that is an old piano sitting in the middle of a field. Just begging to be photographed!

At this point, I guess we just got carried away. 90 candles in mason jars? YES, PLEASE.
Nothing like starting out wedding season with a potentially favorite image of the entire year. 🙂

Dusk turned to dark and we wrapped up this session under the crescent moon.

I cannot wait to celebrate with Dalton & Brittney in November!
