Micah and Mackenzie
Micah and Mackenzie were married on Saturday at Eagle Valley Evangelical Free Church in Christine, ND! A whirlwind engagement and three months of wedding planning culminated in a joyful day full of sparkles, blush pink and crisp fall air. I LOVED photographing this day! With the help of her mom, Mackenzie dressed in her parent’s bedroom.
Her bridesmaids were so excited to see their friend as a bride.
Pumpkin wandered in the room and got roped into a few wedding photos.
I’m pretty sure he was thrilled about it. Don’t you think he looks excited?
The bride is ready to go!
When I arrived that morning, Mackenzie’s dad took me on a walk back through the woods behind their house.
“Do you think this will work for photos?” he asked. UMMMMM, YES, it will do! (!!!!!)
I was so excited shooting here! Look at this beautiful bride!
When Mackenzie and Micah saw each other for the first time,
I was struck by their easy way together.
Jaw dropping.
I loved Mackenzie’s cathedral length veil.
My favorite thing about photographing Micah and Mackenzie was their chatting. They could not stop talking to each other!
They were so busy being best friends, they hardly realized they were having their wedding portraits taken.
It was so endearing. I loved the connection these two have.
One of my favorites:
And as if the day couldn’t get any better,
I GOT TO CLIMB A DEER STAND.
Summer highlight, right there. And look at this gorgeous bridal party!
The groom and his brothers. (Yes, all brothers! What a party!)
Lovely bridesmaids. These colors!!!
One more from my bird’s-eye view.
The detail on Mackenzie’s dress is so pretty against the floor of the woods.
With portraits done, the girls tucked away into a classroom. Just a few minutes before the biggest moment of her life,
Mackenzie was playing hangman with her gal pals. Cutest thing ever!
The time has come!
Vows and rings.
Unity candle and prayers of blessing.
Mr. & Mrs.!!!
Hugs and congratulations…Emotion in dad’s eyes as he hugged his baby girl.
Pink and gold, all over!
What fun reception.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Micah Long. Thank you for having me along on your wedding day. Never stop being best friends. What a gift! All my appreciation,
***
