NDSU Alumni Center Wedding Photos
Good morning, and Happy Wednesday! I have a million NDSU Alumni Center Wedding Photos to share with you today. I’m thrilled to share Mark and Melanie’s wedding with you. This sweet pair was married on Saturday between thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Between flying rain drops, they pulled off an amazing, outdoor ceremony! The courtyard at the Alumni Center is one of my favorite places for wedding photos in town. The gazebo and arched walkways hold such a modern-quaint feeling and was the perfect choice for M&M’s rustic, elegant DIY wedding. Melanie (and Mark!) deserve credit for hand crafting so many of the details of this wedding day. Crafters… be inspired!
I love mossy cobblestones. Brings me back to Jane Austen, somehow.
Meet Melanie. The bride that never stops smiling! Ahh, love her!
GORGEOUS.
First look with Melanie’s dad!
And then it was time for the grand entrance to see Mark!
Mark has a special smile for Melanie and it is the most precious thing to see.
The lovebirds exchanged letters to each other before portraits began.
As we began portraits, the skies quickly changed between sunny, rainy, blue, dark clouds.
It kept us hopping!
Oooh! One of my favorites!
Ceremony time. Here comes the bride!
Throughout the ceremony, Leia the flower girl enjoyed walking back and forth between the bride and groom and the guests which gave us the opportunity to see her cuteness from every angle. (The little bun in her hair? I die.)
During a couple minutes of the vows, Leia walked over to Mark and Melanie to grab hold of both of their hands. I think she wanted a close up view!
Married!
The reception room at the center was looking bright, airy and festive!
Speeches from the parents and wedding party.
Cutting the cake.
Melanie had created an amazing DIY photo booth.
It’s not often I show my own face on wedding blogs… buuuuut……
…me and my assistant, Abbie miiiight have gotten distracted when we saw all the fun props! Haha!
The other guests clearly enjoyed the photo booth as well.
First dances.
These two have so much fun together.
The radar indicated more storms on the way, but at this point the extra rain only meant extra luck for the bride and groom. 🙂
Brothers will be brothers.
The skies cleared leaving way for the most beautiful sunset. We took full advantage of the dewy light and colorful night skies.
I LOVE the rich colors that appear after rain falls.
Special thanks to Mark’s brother, Scott, for assisting with some of these night shots!
Congratulations on a perfect wedding day, Mark & Melanie!
I wish you two a lifetime of happiness and FUN.
