The night they met, Karina saw Clay walk into the Old Broadway and felt compelled to walk up to him and tell him he was handsome. It took all the confidence she could muster but he loved her boldness and they hit it off right away, talking for hours about their mutual love for Star Wars and all things nerdy movies. Many movie premieres since, they got engaged in a movie theater and started planning their dream wedding. Aspects of their plans were derailed due to Covid but despite the odds they were married at First Lutheran Church in downtown Fargo this past Saturday! Every detail was full of love and purpose and I love all the pretty shades of blue and pink. It was a joy to see their deep commitment to each other.  Enjoy this little peek into their day!

Clay and Karina chose to wait and see each other until the ceremony. It took some creativity to block them from each other’s view.
The emotion of this moment was worth the wait.
Clay almost reached down and kissed his bride right then and there.
And then they remembered…they had to finish their walk up the aisle and get married first! Karina is a science teacher and Clay is in dentistry. Their unity ceremony was a nod to their chosen professions!
Happily MARRIED!
Karina’s grandpa is a former newspaper photojournalist and I caught him snapping photos of the beautiful bride from the sidelines. The sweetest thing.
