Classic Boho Backyard Ulen Minnesota Wedding
Nick & Carlie
Nick & Carlie were married on Saturday at Carlie’s parent’s home in Ulen, MN. This was the third family wedding in seventeen months, so let me tell you – the Erickson’s knows how to throw a backyard wedding! Rows of white chairs and church pews led the eyes to a floral draped, custom wedding arch of three window panes through which you could see the blue sky and waterfront. Carlie’s brother built it for the ceremony. SO special! I had the opportunity to see this site when I traveled there for Carlie & Nick’s Engagement Session, so it was exciting to see the backyard totally transformed into a ceremony location! This classic-boho wedding day was a dream — here are some of my favorite images from the day! First look! I love the shade of blue the bridesmaids are wearing.
Sweet flower girls.
So handsome!
As guests arrived, they were guided on a pathway that led to the ceremony location. All along the way were flowers, greenery and photos of Nick & Carlie.
Look at that perfect sky!
They’re married!!!
Their reception was held at the Avalon Event Center in Fargo, ND.
Nick & Carlie’s first dance as husband and wife.
We took a few minutes to capture some photos at sunset. What a beautiful set of images to finish our evening. ♥
Congratulations, Nick & Carlie!
