Chris and Hannah | Minnesota Wedding Photographer

So excited to share these images with you!  When Hannah first contacted me to photograph her wedding I could tell her day was going to be amazing. Her plans were great, and she spoke glowingly of her fiance.  I could tell Hannah had the dynamic ability to light up a room and make instant best friends with those around her. I knew that her energetic personality and my energetic approach to shooting weddings would be a great fit.  🙂 Their wedding day started in Moorhead, MN at Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Makeup was done by Donnie from Clinique at the Moorhead Center Mall. She has such an amazing eye for color and detail!

Hannah’s glittery shoes definitely stole some spotlight! They created the perfect accompaniment to the gorgeous rings…

As we prepared Chris for the First Look, Hannah pulled a surprise on him and sent Olivia the flowergirl ahead of her!
Since Chris and Olivia are best buds, this surprise was almost too cute for words!

When Hannah arrived, Chris’ excitement was infectious. You can see how much he truly loves and admires his beautiful bride. Look at his face!

And can you blame him?!  Hannah simply radiated.

We made our way into the ceremony, where family and friends witnessed Chris and Hannah exchange their forever I Do’s.
And just like that, we were off to the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes to celebrate this lovely couple!
Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling designed a STUNNING reception for Chris and Hannah.
The room was filled with the sounds of love songs from the 40’s and 50’s, creating the perfect ambiance along with these incredible florals and tablescapes.
The whole evening carried a vibe of classic, elegant romance and delighted celebration! Sadie’s work is impeccable in every way…

One thing that was so clear to me throughout the evening was how much Hannah loves children. And she is so good with them….they all clearly adore her big smile and heart of gold. There were many moments throughout the night where I caught Hannah loving on one little friend or another!

Throughout the day we were delighted to work with Alissa from FM Exposure. (you can see her in the background of the image below and left.)
I can’t wait to see the awesome video she puts together for Chris and Hannah!

As night fell, I was lucky to have the opportunity to do some night time portraits with the couple.
The water droplets in the air and reflections on the lake created a stunning effect in this series of images…

A couple sparkler shots ended the night perfectly.

The image below is definitely one of my favorites. I think it looks like Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage….
