I photograph people because life is beautiful and every person has a story worth telling.
Growing up in a family of six kids gave me a love for people, laughter and noisy chaos.
I met my husband on one of my first photo shoots (it’s true!) and together we have journeyed through his illness with chronic Lyme disease for more than half of our marriage. It has only strengthened my belief that hope comes from knowing an unchanging God, and that the most radiant beauty comes out of life’s darkest moments.
We live in Moorhead, MN where we homeschool our daughters, Anika and Eden. We love walking our dog around the neighborhood and working on improvements for our little house.
Soup bowls at Crate & Barrel are my weakness
Give me a few years and I’ll be the shortest one in the family!
Getting on my mat keeps me feeling strong and flexible
The kitchen is my happy place and I am always making soup
