Imagine waking up by the lake while smelling the aroma of freshly brewed Columbian coffee. Simply heaven! Today in the businesses series, I’m excited to share a collection of images I created for Mi Cartagena Cafe located within LakesInn in Detroit Lakes, MN. The owner, Kerlis, named the shop after her hometown of origin in Cartagena, Columbia. She and I have been friends for years, and I’m so proud of her for creating this oasis by Detroit Lake where you can delicious coffee and enjoy the peaceful views. I personally recommend the lattes, but anything she makes is good.
If you visit Kerlis at the coffee shop, you’ll probably meet her dog Jack who likes to cool off in the lake!
Just for fun, a photo of my two girls with Kerlis! She’s practically their adopted auntie, so they got to come along for this shoot!
