Detroit Lakes Wedding Photographer | Ian & Miranda

This past Saturday I was honored to join Ian & Miranda as they tied the knot in Detroit Lakes, MN!
Their wedding day began at the Holiday Inn on the lake, and as I photographed Miranda’s dress I couldn’t resist
opening the door and listening to the waves hitting the beach. SO relaxing and peaceful.
We could not have asked for better fall weather. Enjoy this peek into their wedding day!

Meanwhile, her two nieces were quite busy trying to be just like their auntie.
(Shoes, phones. Sigh. Life is SO busy, isn’t it girls? Haha! :-))

Ian and Miranda met at Sucker Creek Preserve, one of my favorite nature areas in Detroit Lakes.
This place is stunning in the fall.

Miranda and I talked before their wedding about how much fun it would be to photograph out on the docks at sunset.
The sun was just disappearing as we walked out, and it was so fun to end the night here!
Miranda, you look so graceful and beautiful in the shot below! One of my favorites.

Miranda asked her bridesmaids to do a sparkler photo. I think they did pretty well!
